MQM – Machine Queue Management

The module provides a graphical Gantt with user-defined rules to schedule production based on resources. MQM considers the start and end date of every step. It presents the planning window, with machines color-coded to indicate the best fit and previously scheduled jobs for opportunities to reduce setup time. MQM checks material availability, and future or subsequent production areas to ensure any overlap is within allowances, checks non-capacity constraints, and considers the schedule dates of products of the same order to ensure they are completed on time. MQM offers automatic sequencing: the schedule defines the rules, using heuristics to balance on-time delivery, set cost implications, and reduce WIP. The system will automatically schedule production and run multiple iterations if needed. When MQM is used with ERP or shop floor data collection systems, the schedule will be updated to reflect the reality of the production recording. It will alert on jobs running late, etc.
