Description
HICO ball valve is a pivotal component within pipelines, designed with a spherical closure mechanism. This valve employs a spherical “ball” with a central aperture that facilitates or obstructs the flow of liquids or gases within a pipeline.
Functionally, the ball within the valve can be rotated 90 degrees to either permit or obstruct the flow. When in the open position, the aperture aligns with the pipeline, allowing the substance to flow through. Conversely, when rotated into the closed position, the ball obstructs the passage, ceasing the flow of the substance.
