Antonio Monti, ambitious and drawing on experience gained in the famous company created in the 1930s by his father Vincenzo, sets up his own business, OFFICINE MECCANICHE A. MONTI, making machines for pressing knitwear and steam boilers. In 1971 the company continues to expand and strengthens its position by moving into the Sublimation-Print sector. After 16 years later in 1987, the company becomes a public limited company, trading under the name “Monti Antonio S.p.A.
