Hitachi has a long history of innovation in the chiller industry since 1952, becoming the rst
HVAC manufacturer to introduce a semi-hermetic twin screw compressor back in 1979,
followed shortly after the launch of our rst water-cooled screw chiller in 1980. Hitachi's new
G type R134a compressor to unleash greater energy savings and performance with EER up to
5.9 and IPLV 9.93.
Hitachi's centrifugal chillers are known for their top-tier e ciency, providing customers with
cost savings on their electricity bills while helping them achieve sustainability COP of 22.4
and IPLV of 11.5 at partial load.
The Hitachi magnetic-bearing centrifugal compressor is designed to maximize energy e ciency
and reliability. The chiller can achieve a full load COP as high as 7.0 and an IPLV as high as 9.5.
